  Carly Zucker and Joe Cole: It’s a girl!

  Carly Zucker gave birth to a healthy baby girl late last week, her first child with husband Joe Cole.

  The WAG was taken to The Portland Hospital early Thursday evening and after a long 16-hour labour, gave birth to a 6lb 3oz little girl. A source close to couple said “both mother and baby are doing well. The whole family are delighted and Joe was really emotional immediately after the birth”.

  The new-born is said to look very similar to footballer father, Cole. The couple previously told Hello! magazine they knew to expect a girl and were thinking of naming her Scarlett, but due to her uncanny resemblance to Cole, they are reconsidering and are yet to decide on a name.

  It is unclear as to whether their new baby will grow up, as Joe Cole’s position with Chelsea is uncertain; both Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing the player.
